Please fill out the form below if you wish to introduce a character to the game. Once accepted, they will be introduced to the game, and inducted into the ranks of the Seleção. Players are allowed to have no more than four characters in the game at once. This number may be extended through activity checks.

<b>Player Name:</b> What you want to be called by. This can be either your real name or nickname. <b>Character Name:</b> The name of the character you would like to play. <b>Character Series:</b> The name of the canon your character is from. <b>Canon Point:</b> At what point in your character's life or timeline are you bringing them in from? <b>Preferred Housing:</b> You're able to choose where your character would stay during the rp as long as there is a vacancy. If you don't have any, though, just write “N/A” and we'll arrange one. <b>Background:</b> Tell us about your character's life and universe. A link to a wiki or other comprehensive source is acceptable if available. Please don't link to TVTropes. <b>Personality:</b> We would like at least four, decent-sized paragraphs written by you detailing the way your characters think and act. Please be as well-rounded as possible when discussing your character. For OC/AU characters, we ask for a more detailed background. At least five paragraphs should suffice for them. <b>Sample Entry:</b> A link to an example of you playing your character. We accept posts from museboxes, dressing rooms, previous rps, meme posts, and dear_mun. Samples should consist of at least two five-comment threads each with different characters. Phoenix Wright | Ace Attorney

Personality: Outwardly, Phoenix is a pretty mild-mannered sort of guy. He's easily intimidated, doesn't like to make more of a fuss than strictly necessary, and while he can be prone to emotional outbursts, he's not the sort of guy who homes in on conflict. Most of his less diplomatic comments are kept to himself (or attempted, anyway; he occasionally illustrates exactly what he's thinking on his face). In short, he's generally an everyman.

Until you get him to court.

Phoenix is a turnabout specialist, a guy who can take a seemingly hopeless case and turn it into a victory. Typically, this ends up by the skin of his teeth. It doesn't help he functions in a court system that is antagonistic towards defense attorneys, who are seen as obstructing a quick, simple flow of getting as many criminals in jail as possible. But when he truly, honestly believes in the innocence of his client -- and this is usually the case, since he refuses to take the cases of those who simply want to manipulate the court to get them off a crime they're clearly guilty of -- he's ferocious, exploiting every weakness in a testimony, every seemingly innocuous piece of evidence. His mentor, Mia Fey, taught him to think outside the box, and he embraces that style whole-heartedly.

Phoenix believes in truth and justice over victory. He will fight for his clients, sure, but only to ensure that the full story behind any crime comes out. A true lawyer, in his experience, works with the prosecution to ensure that every loose end, every possible alternate explanation or contradiction, has been ironed out, leaving nothing but the full, undiluted truth. The truth hurts sometimes, to be certain, but it has to be put out there. Leave a story incomplete, and justice cannot be achieved. It is only when everything is out there, warts and all, that judgment can be passed.

That said, Phoenix is also fiercely loyal to friends. He is most motivated when he has a personal stake in a case, usually a friend who is either on trial or in danger, and can otherwise be somewhat lazy and overly selective in his clients. Unfortunately, his loyalty also tends to bring out his rashest decisions, which more often than not hurt more than help. Still, you can count on him to defend you to the end -- and, perhaps, even sacrifice himself if that's what it takes to ensure your safety.

Notes: At some point, Phoenix will be buying back uses of his magatama. This is an artifact that's both powerful and, er, not, so I'm unsure how much it will cost. A couple other things:
1.) Phoenix will almost certainly spend some time trying to get any information that he can on the organization behind this. He does NOT appreciate people's lives being forfeit for the sake of some silly game no matter HOW well-intentioned it is.
2.) If worse comes to worse, and he has close enough friends, he's the type who'd try to spend his last dollar first...
